Easter bell completely handmade, through the intertwining of the leaves of the corn-husk.The bell has on the top two bows, one natural finished as the corn leafe, one colored. A little ribbon is fixed on the top.

Suitable as a decoration for your home, both during the Easter period and throughout the year. The handmade bell is perfect to be put on a table as centrepiece but it is also very nice hung.

Height of 17 cm aproximately. Diameter base of 13/14 cm.

Possible imperfections or minor differences of the product compared to the photo indicate the high craftsmanship of a handmade product. It is recommended not to wet the product, to avoid damaging it.

HISTORY

A production that is completely handmade and that nowadays remains alive in very few places, the scus (workings of the corncob leaf) had a great success and demand until a few decades ago. Today there are still several artisans from the Val del Torre area (in the province of Udine, Friuli Venezia Giulia) who carry on this tradition and offer marvellous creations.

La Cort has chosen to offer these items because they are deeply characteristic of the peasant economy of past times and yet at the same time have evolved so that they also offer objects for everyday use.
