Set of two little bells completely handmade, through the intertwining of the leaves of the corn-husk. Suitable as a decoration for your home, both during the Easter period and throughout the year. An original idea also as wedding favour. They are decorated with little ribbons and have a handy cord to hang them. Assorted color ribbons available.

Dimension: h 8 cm circa.

Possible imperfections or minor differences of the product compared to the photo indicate the high craftsmanship of a handmade product. It is recommended not to wet the product, to avoid damaging it.

HISTORY

A production that is completely handmade and that nowadays remains alive in very few places, the scus (workings of the corncob leaf) had a great success and demand until a few decades ago. Today there are still several artisans from the Val del Torre area (in the province of Udine) who carry on this tradition and offer marvellous creations.

La Cort has chosen to offer these articles because they are deeply characteristic of the peasant economy of past times and yet at the same time have evolved so that they also offer objects for everyday use.
