Small Easter Egg completely handmade using the corn leaves (in local language called scus). It presents a base for a perfect stand and on the top a yellow floral decoration.

The Easter Egg is an original host gift for Easter period: you can put it on the table or in your special corner!

Total height: around 15 cm.

HISTORY

A production that is completely handmade and that nowadays remains alive in very few places, the scus (workings of the corncob leaf) had a great success and demand until a few decades ago. Today there are still several artisans from the Val del Torre area (in the province of Udine) who carry on this tradition and offer marvellous creations.

La Cort has chosen to offer these articles because they are deeply characteristic of the peasant economy of past times and yet at the same time have evolved so that they also offer objects for everyday use.
