Set of two corn-husk bunnies completely handmade from the manual skills of our craftsmen, in this case the corn-husk leaves are used to make a cute pair of Easter bunnies. Suitable as a decoration for your home, both during the Easter period and throughout the year. It can be placed on a shelf as a centrepiece and, on the curl of the tail, a chocolate egg can be put as a surprise. An original idea also as wedding favour.

Set of two corn-husk bunnies ideal as decoration or as a gift idea for Easter, they are embellished with a coloured ribbon.

Possible imperfections or minor differences of the product compared to the photo indicate the high craftsmanship of a handmade product. It is recommended not to wet the product, to avoid damaging it.

HISTORY

A production that is completely handmade and that nowadays remains alive in very few places, the scus (workings of the corncob leaf) had a great success and demand until a few decades ago. Today there are still several artisans from the Val del Torre area (in the province of Udine) who carry on this tradition and offer marvellous creations.

La Cort has chosen to offer these articles because they are deeply characteristic of the peasant economy of past times and yet at the same time have evolved so that they also offer objects for everyday use.
