Christmas hanging bubble decoration entirely handmade with corncob leaves, a typical local production and complete with angel’s head and swings of the same material; the decoration is enriched by a central gold little bowl.The item is ideal for adorning your Christmas tree or for decoring a window. HISTORY

A production that is completely handmade and that nowadays remains alive in very few places, the scus (workings of the corncob leaf) had a great success and demand until a few decades ago. Today there are still several artisans from the Val del Torre area (in the province of Udine) who carry on this tradition and offer marvellous creations.

La Cort has chosen to offer these articles because they are deeply characteristic of the peasant economy of past times and yet at the same time have evolved so that they also offer objects for everyday use.
