The notebooks, pencil and bookmark set Udine is designed and produced by the artistic bookbinder Legatoria Ciani in Udine, specialized in the bookmarks and photo albums craft; the research of new, original and also reused materials is main characteristic of this production. Every cover, made with attention to the smallest details, is the result of new inspirations and unique materials.
The images used for the printings are an exclusive property of Legatoria Ciani.
The notebooks are made with paper and ivory cardboard exclusively of Italian origin.
This production foresees a typographic print in order to guarantee a durable quality.
HISTORY
The proximity of Friuli to the city of Venice and its supremacy on the internal land for a long period, made possible to receive a lot of economic and cultural influences. The development of printing received a great incentive from the flourishing economy in the lagoon area.
Nowadays in Friuli Venezia Giulia some workshops still work to carry on the bookbinding activity and the typographic printing.
