Key chain made using recycled sails in blue colour with nautical eyelet. Article with double ring for the keys and provided coloured packaging, perfect for a gift. Available on request in others colours.

Sails and others materials are carefully selected to create a unique piece, meticulously handmade. Any imperfections and irregularities constitute the particularity of the products. Dimensions of 3 x 9.50 cm.

PRODUCTION

Sails of racing and cruising yachts, windsurfs and kytesurfs have now a second life by turning them into bags, totes and furniture. Tech materials such as kevlar, dacron and carbon are then recycled, avoiding early disposal and helping the environment.

Dacron: it’s a synthetic fiber, much used for the construction of the sails, durable and sturdy. Usually used for the mainsail has several seams that make it very special, suitable for creating bags and accessories always different and originals.

STORY

Bolina Sail, a range of original, functional and stylish bags and accessories made from used sails, is located in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD, Italy), a small peninsula between the waters of the lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. Company’s aim is to give a second life to the used sails of racing and cruising yachts, windsurfs and kytesurfsby turning them into bags, totes and furniture; as part of Made in Italy, every piece is unique and completely handmade.

“Bolina” (close-hauling) is typical gait of the sailboat that allows you to go against the wind. Similarly Bolina Sail has chosen to sail against, leaving behind the fashions with their uniformity to create original items to suit unique and independent people all around the world.
