The product has not been coated, so it is completely natural and suitable for food. Before its first use, treat the board with food-grade oil, preferably olive oil and for its well maintenance repeat the treatment every 2-3 months. For the cleaning use a damp cloth; it is not advisable to clean this product in the dishwasher.

The chopping board name is that of the cheese which comes from the The Jôf di Montasio, located in the Province of Udine, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, the high mountain of the Julian Alps. The Montasio is a creamy cow’s milk cheese sold fresh, middle and aged depending on the aging time. Its production is subject to high quality controls and is it has been awarded by the designation of origin in 1986.
